Functionality
The KitchenAid 2-Slot Toaster features toast, bagel and reheat functions, all of which can be started automatically by simply pressing each button. Use the keep warm function to keep toasted foods warm for up to one minute after toasting or Bagel button that for gently browning of the outside (bottom of bagel) while toasting the inside (cut side) as this function reduces the power on one side of the heating elements by 50%.
Comfort
This toaster features adjustable shade control dial with 5 shade settings which allows you to regulate the browning of the toast, from 1 (light) to 5 (dark). Furthermore, the manual high-lift lever raises even the smallest slices to a high level for easy access and removal when toasting is complete while the removable crumb collection drawer for easy cleaning.
